Urban Run

by Andy
(Leeds, UK)

I ran about 2 miles in my run. I live in the city so I ran through the park on a sunny and warm day, dry under foot.

I like to run along a path through the grass and along the riverbank, then along a few minor roads along the pavement.

The change in terrain can make it somewhat more difficult to maintain an even pace, but also makes it more interesting. I did manage to keep it pretty much the same.

I had to stop a few times for traffic, pedestrians and the like, and junctions, so the quieter the road the better to maintain the pace.

All in all, a slow run for me as I do run a lot and usually do a greater distance, I blame it on the interference.

I find a walkman helps too. A great run though, felt really energized afterwards!
