Cooper test, my advice
by: Anonymous

I am a 17 year old boy. This is actually the second time I have run the Cooper test. Today I ran 3400m. The conditions were perfect, no rain and excellent temperature. I could have run longer (ca. 100m) if I had kept a steadier pace.

My goal is to run 3600m. (1 min. 20 sec. per lap, 9 laps total)

Advice:
KEEP A STEADY PACE!!!
If possible you should run the distance during training, set a goal, figure out how fast you need to run each lap and stick to your plan during the test. Sprint the last 30 sec. of the test.

Good Luck!
