I know you wrote this a while ago, cause I read it before. This time I actually read it for the first time, as I am now in the same situation.

I tried the water idea, but swimming was my choice. I go twice a week and you are so right, once you start you get charged up with your success.

I only lost a few pounds the first couple of weeks but I felt so much better it made me stay longer in future visits and I too started cutting down on the eating as well.

I've lost 15 pounds so far in about 5 weeks, but more than that I feel so much better and I know I will lose a lot more now that I'm motivated by this success.
